Hi everyone-I posted a few weeks ago about being relocated with my wife and four kids to Louisville. I will be traveling a great deal for work for the next year. We are looking at living in Prospect. We would like to send our kids to Catholic school. Do most kids there who go to Catholic schools go to St Mary's or St Patrick's ? We have found a school in the city we really like (St Agnes) but we are wondering what my commute will be (downtown Louisville) and how long it will take to drive the kids to school. Any thoughts? Your help is (again) much, much appreciated!!

The commute from Prospect to downtown to and downtown to St. Agnes is relatively easy. The commute from St. Agnes to Prospect is a little more difficult. Roughly, it's a 15-20 minute drive. The drive from Prospect is simple and straight shot down the river to downtown. Hop and the expressway or follow River Road and you are there. St. Agnes is a good school.

Things have changed since I went to school, but it used to be that Catholic kids in the Prospect / Brownsboro area would mostly attend Holy Trinity, St. Albert's or Mother Good Council. That since has changed. A lot of has changed, actually, in the last 10 years. I believe Albert's and Mother Goose now make up a part of St. Mary's. Holy Trinity is still there though, I think.
