I've seen two incidents in two days (involved in one sadly) which call for some props to two local police depts.

Louisville Metro PD- I was sitting at a light at Broadway and 1st when a pedestrian was running and crossing Broadway when a car turning left hit him. I saw the guy go behind an SUV and not come out on the other side. So I try to double back to 1st and Broadway and try to help when I have to find somewhere to stop and park. When I do after two or three minutes I walk up to the scene and there is already a Metro PD officer on the scene and some medics. The fast response time was great. Well Done LMPD.

Radcliff PD- I was driving back home from work when.... something with four legs comes running up out the ditch and right in front of my Honda. I hear a big thud I stop and call 911. In less than five minutes there are 2 or 3 Radcliff cops on the scene. They look for 10 minutes for any animal carcass. The only thing they could find is the animal's tail. One cop assured me that i had did nothing wrong calming (or trying to) my nerves. They were very professional.

I usually never give cops props and am the first to badmouth them. But I really want to give some KY cops credit for being their true role, public servants.
