Does anyone know of any fireworks displays that are in smaller suburban areas? I don't want to go to Waterfront Park, the Bats game, or Belle of Louisville cruise. I was hoping to find a smaller neighborhood display to go to this year. Thanks!

Ton Sawyer Park used to have a nice display but check and see if they still do.

I would recommend either Crescent Hill or New Albany. Both are great old fashioned displays.

Usually Prospect has a wonderful fireworks display - but they are cutting back this year and not having it. They didn't have the corporate sponsorship this year like they usually do. There will be all kinds of free acitivities for children and families starting early in the morning - it takes place in Hunting Creek at the park at the end of Hunting Creek Drive.
