Would you purchase a home on Hikes Lane? It would have a full fence backyard. We have not seen home yet but our Realtor said it's on a busy street. I am originally from NYC so not sure how much it compares to what I am used to. LOL. Hubby and I lived in Indianapolis (in a small town within Indianapolis) for 8 years on a 2 way street, kind of busy at times but definitely not in a subdivision kind of slow street. Any thoughts on how busy Hikes Lane is? I obviously have to go see the home but wondering what your thoughts are. Hubby thinks the only pros to that is that we are used to it based on where we lived before and also that the street is always busy and less likely for people to cause commotions since all can see them.

the street is busy with vehicles, not pedestrians . It is an ok area. I would look at residential streets in Highlands or Crescent Hill first

We passed on this home. I did not like the neighborhood a few blocks away. We made an offer on a home in St Mathews and love the area.

I am very familiar with the area and know people that live or use to live on Hikes....I was thinking Hunsinger Lane. Hikes on the other hand is busy with cars. St. Matthews is a gr-reat choice.
