And, here is Louisville's skyline in 2011, after the arena, Museum Plaza, and Capital Plaza are built. This does not include the numerous other towers proposed or under construction on the east side of downtown!

thats really cool, i think it will fill in the gap between the Humana Building and Museum Plaza and make the skyline look more "full". When is is supposed to be completed?

2011 I think - maybe just after Museum Plaza. Hopefully the mortgage crisis won't hurt any of these big projects

yes, but mortgage slumps cam stall projects under construction too bc a project as large as MP is bid in faces when it costs a half a billion. i wouldnt expect too many delays though.

In general I think downtown housing has been as affected the the drop in home construction, it's more of a suburban problem. Even while all the rest of Jefferson Co home prices fell, downtown and Old Louisville still increased

Very true, but it is still affected some, especially with the mortgage situation. What the mayor said in his sate of the city this year is that he has planted seeds for development, and if the seeds can weather the mortgage crisis, we will have a wonderful germinating plant when conditions are ripe.
