I'm working on the east side and Riggins Mill Rd., Emory Hwy to I-16 is bumper to bumper for miles due to evacuees. I-16 is a gridlock to I-75 so I guess all the Geico & YKK employees are taking the back way to downtown & I-16 and it all is causing straight havoc on the east side. Oh my imagine if this was everyday traffic in Macon. All hotels full, restaurants packed, wrecks everywhere...holly ****! It's Atlanta Jr.

Yes. It has been rough for the past 2 days. I just try to keep my patience knowing these folks have left their homes not knowing what they will come home to. It is frustrating but we definitely have the easier end of this deal. In the mean time we have thousands of visitors in town and we can be as hospitable as possible.
