Fruedenberg Texbond is making a investment of $21 million-$25 million in its Macon facility in the Allied Industrial Park.
The announcement was made Monday by the company and the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority at Central Georgia Technical College.
The company is renovating its plant in order to begin a new manufacturing line using different technology than it currently does, said Managing Director Nick Brueckner. The company recycles plastic bottles, turns them into chips before making roofing products and related components.
