The fast food chain known for its fried chicken is planning to open on Pio Nono Avenue next month, on Gray Highway in January and Riverside Drive in April, a manager with the company tells 13WMAZ.
The company's website only makes reference to the planned Pio Nono restaurant.
The North Carolina-based chain started in 1977 and has grown to more than 600 restaurants. The only other Bojangles locations in central Georgia are in Warner Robins and Milledgeville.
Lol; Lee's chicken was the best of them all. I show hate they left Georgia. I use to drive from Doraville just to go to Lee's chicken on Pio Nono. Smiling all the way back to my home town Macon & smiling back to the A-T-L with a big box of Chicken. ...............Bring Lee's chicken & Shoney's back!

My folks used to get those Chicken Livers from there when I was young. Wasnt it a yellow box with Lee written in red?
