I found this project on loopnet.com. The project is located at 590 DT Walton Sr Way and involves the city owned parking lot at that location. The proposed project would build a parking deck and 21,000 sf of retail space.

This kinda looks like it's to be part of the Exchange Project that is suppose to expand over two blocks consisting of Popular, Plum, 1st, and 2nd Streets. If you ask me, because the Exchange Project is suppose to build a parking garage behind the Government Center formally City Hall.

I kinda had a feeling it was and then I saw the article posted today on the Macon Telegraph site confirming it.
