A Texas-based restaurant is planning to move into a building at The Shoppes at River Crossing where another restaurant moved out.
Zoes Kitchen plans to move into space formerly occupied by Buca Di Beppo in the shopping center at 5080 Riverside Drive in north Bibb County.
Renovation work is expected to begin in July, and the restaurant is slated to open mid-fall in about 2,800 square feet of space with about 500 square feet of that used for a patio, according to an email from Madeline Stone, a public relations coordinator with the Plano, Texas company.
Its exciting to see a lot of the restaurant chains you would normally see in the Atlanta area making their way down to the Macon-WR area. Zoe's Kitchen has pretty good food, We eat there often up at the one in Norcross, Ga.
Maybe I will like this one better than Buca. I only went there once and was unimpressed.
