Hey guys and gals,
My windshield wipers on my Camry stopped working. This is my first repair needed since moving to Madison. Can anyone recommend a place where they are reliable, efficient, competitive in pricing?

I don't know of any good Mom & Pops type places, but Zimbrick's service department is really good.

Jensen's on Regent St. is family owned, the guy is honest and charges very competitive rates.

Don the Muffler Man over on the far west side, I think it's still called Big Sky Drive where the drive-in theater used to be.

We've used Jerry's Garage on East Washington ever since moving here in 1999. It's a one-man shop, the owner is ASE-certified, and he is both highly competent and extremely ethical. Might be a bit of a haul for you, though, since if memory serves, you're on the far west side.

Among dealers, I'd agree that Zimbrick is the best in town. I'd just sooner give my patronage to an individual small-business owner than a big corporation.

They aren't small, but the Zimbricks are local. They live in Fitchburg and are very nice people who do a lot for the community.

Windshield wipers that should be an easy fix - get yourself a manual or something. Most any guy learns to do this on his own! It will put hair on your chest
