Hi All,

Spouse and I are moving to madison,WI and are looking to buy furniture there. I was wondering if any of you would happen to know of any furniture stores that are good in price and quality.
We are definitely open to local amish like stores if any.

In fact, any info on this will be helpful at this point.

Cheers

There is Don's Oak Furniture. They have some nice pieces of Amish built furniture and a wide range of prices, but you are going to pay a decent price for solid wood furniture. I don't know of any real "bargains" around here.

I would avoid American TV. I've had three bad experiences with them (why I kept going back I don't have a clue). I've had nothing but good luck with Steinhafels (sp?).

For really upscale you can try Century House.

Also very good is Woodworks on Watts Rd (next to the west side Woodman's).

I'd just check the yellow pages, then start looking for things that appeal to you in your price range & decor. There are several furniture stores in madison to choose from.
