All the hot women over 40 are in Minnesota or neighboring Illinois. Therefore a decent looking fit single guy over 40 needs to really consider before moving to Wisconsin. It’s not a friendly populace either. Maybe except for Milwaukee. It’s a nice state but miserable if your a single male. Get used to a lot of rejection especially by women who aren’t remotely attractive. What gives in Wisconsin? Why is there so much severe obesity?

What this thread has me wondering, is why the OP has a strong tendency to end up in cities/areas/regions full of women that repulse him, or that reject him, seemingly universally. He came to WI from Seattle, where he complained bitterly about the women (in spite of the fact, I feel compelled to add, that WA has one of the highest percentages of healthy-weight people in the US. All that hiking, boating, biking, etc...)

But really, this is remarkable. He finally effects his escape from Seattle hell, only to choose WI, where he's similarly miserable. I wish him better luck with his next relocation.

Great suggestion.
Was in Houston on business several yrs back.
Went to a Rockets/Knicks game (I believe)at the Compaq Center near the Galleria. OMG
For a dude coming from Milwaukee at the time, I found both the quality and dress code of the women at this game unbelievable.

I forgot about that experience!
Thank you for allowing me to recall this night

I"m not from Wisconsin but saw the title of your thread when scrolling through the states. But I had to add that, if you're leaving, all those wonderful women who don't fit your specifications, will probably send you a thank you note for leaving. And I hope you don't choke on your halo as you leave. All I can say is it's your loss, not theirs.

P.S. On Edit: I am sure that you are a solid Ten, right?

Btw, I am 68, happily married, of average weight (size 8), and so I have no "skin in the game", but I just despise people of either sex who place more importance on appearance than any other quality. And maybe you don't, but I have known men who have (although they were all under age 30.
It's called "Sex Appeal", and we are allowed to desire it. It is what attracts us to another person in the first place, or we would most likely never get together. After the initial attraction, then we can go deeper if we would like.

One doesn't have to be a 10 to be turned off by fat, out of shape people. You can be a solid 6 who is in shape, and would like to date another 6 who is also in shape. Nothing wrong with thinking those who take pride in their appearance are nice looking. We aren't talking perfection here. At least I'm not.

Yeah, it's a real mystery why the ladies aren't busting down the door.
Talk about shallow! A man can be a good person, yet not have very good grammar. I would much rather have a good, kind man that was a little rough around the edges than someone who thinks grammar is the end all, and be all of a human. Someone who can work with his hands, and build things is a very good thing to find. As are carpenters, mechanics, plumbers, electricians, those who install floors, and a large variety of others who do good honest hard work. God bless em!

Went out for dinner tonight and the fat men outnumbered the fat women 2 to 1 easy.
