Wrigleyville is definitely more energetic and fun.

But Armour Square is home to the Dalmatians (Croatians) and those are my people. Plus it's mixed with Sicilians and Chinese, which are 2 very different cultures, but both I enjoy.

...

Speaking of big boned Germans, my ex-satan is German AND obese!!! And yet, I love to come to Illinois and I do NOT see the same obese issues in Illinois as I do in Wisconsin.

So I cannot say I feel the OP is wrong. What I DO say to the OP is: be polite, take care of yourself, don't over focus on your looks nor the looks of others.... Just go out there and wait for life to lead you to a good woman.

I've been in the dating world for 3 years. The majority of my dates tend to be from Illinois, and they tend to be Hispanic or Indian. The thing is, I just haven't fallen in love. And they all LOOK fine.
Great advice to the OP! My family and I come from Wisconsin Germans (mixed in with Chicago Italians and Irish) and happen to be mostly tall and slender.

I'm born and raised Milwaukeean. Croatian and Mexican: meaning, shorter in stature but hugely charming and handsome.

I feel like this 24/7. How is Madison's trio game? Can they hang with Milwaukee?

I’m dying right now for some beer brats slathered in spicy mustard, with a side of sauerkraut, and (cuz, why not?) a handful of deep-fried cheese curds.

My and my roommate’s personal anthem in college was Sir Mixalot’s “Baby Got Back”

Perhaps OP might have better luck if he got off the internet dating sites and head to Wisconsin’s Octoberfest to mingle with the singles in an atmosphere more conducive to meeting other similarly-minded folks.

Good beers, good food, good fun, and check out those traditional Bavarian women’s dresses. Good chance too to break out the guitar and woo the ladies with some tunes. Everyone knows guitar players get all the chicks.

If not this year, then the next one.

mingna, I back up your idea.

HOWEVER,

I would invite the OP to ALSO check out the Oktoberfests in Illinois AS WELL.

I'm not trying to take away from all you beautiful Wisconsinites (especially the ones that would do well in a Sir Mix-A-Lot video), but I have to be honest: I DO prefer Illinois.

I just feel they have more Sir Mix-A-Lot video-types to offer, that's all!

The Ballad of Hollis Brown snags 'em every time.
