Thanks for the video clip, I think I know where you were. I wish I had more time to stop the car and get out when I'm driving....

Hi,

Is there any other Amish contact you know off? I send correspondence to him, but he never mind answering, also I went in person and try to speak with him personally, the one Amish guy I spoke with did not sound very friendly. Sometimes I get a feeling that some of them feel as if though they are the ones that have the exclusive right to live in the country, as for the rest of us who enjoy the same life style, and country living we are too contaminated or not worthy (in their opinion) to participate and enjoy the world that God created. Could it be that he is too bussy to bother answering, but a negative response of his part does not bother me, at least say it.

A nice area indeed, there is something supernaturaly magic about the solitude of the outdoors. When I was driving back home, I took the time to observe the trees, the beautiful sky, the colors of the leaves. It is just another atmosphere that inundates one's soul with inner peace.

i have to say that like any other group of people you have run into in this world you get your good ones and bad ones ..

when the wife was doing the quilting circles shows in the mid west there was a few of the women that did the quilting sales there where a little stange at times over dealing with them and then there where ones that was fun and thought nothing of haveing you come to dinner at the house when you in the area..

one of the wife husband was a really great cabinet maker and i had him make me a special cabinet to hide my rifles and pistol in the house that look like a desk in the front room .everything worked great and when the desk drawer was removed it open up the rifle and hand side cabinet on the desk ..i loved that desk lost it in a fire when i moved from one place in the military ..

Mainebrokerman that clip brings back a lot of memories. The farm you are practically in front of used to be my uncles. I hung my first deer there and used to pick potatoes in those fields. Now you really got me homesick!
