Hi all, still on the home search, as our exploratory visit dates draw oh so near - just about 2 weeks away, planning now for those stressful times after seeing 9-10 homes/ day up & down Coastal Maine from Harpswell north to Sschoodic Peninsula, I'm going to need some chocolate! Can't hurt also to try out the must finds for future reference when we move up there, the must tastes of Coastal Maine's home made chocolatiers!
Any personal recomendations for chocolatiers in the areas mentioned - just one requirement must have dark chocolate, would be nice to find a sample of something w/ Maine's wild little bluberries combined w/ the chocolate.
Good news for us "awayers" (home) buyers is that there appears to be lots of inventory from which to choose.
NOTE to self - 1. must check out that Chicken Barn, and 2.) find out what the Wooden Boat school is all about - came across two references to this Wooden Boat school yesterday (trip advisor and a new home listing [based on wooodenboat school] by local architect Robert Knight [hope I got his name right].
In advance, thanks much!

Wooden boat school is a day camp for adults. If you want to learn some of the basics of some type of boat construction, take the week long course. They offer all sorts of subjects from boat construction to boat surveying, and photography. It's definitely hands on and the students seem to enjoy it. They always make their pilgrimage to the boatyard.
A few of the guys from work teach courses there. I think you can stay at woodenboat, or make your own accommodations.
