I'd like to know if anyone has worked at any of the above? How are they to work for,management,benifits,pay,co-workers,etc?A friend suggested I look into it as I have 25 years in selling hunting(firearms)equipment.Any pros and cons of living in NH and working in ME?Thanks for the help.

you will pay an income tax to Maine!

I got a friend that worked for years at colemans managing a store and now works for Bass pro shops managing one little section of the store... he likes it better but I still get the idea retail is retail..

Not if you are willing to pay Maine Income Tax on wages earned in Maine, no matter where you live...Living in NH won't save you any Maine state income tax liability. Wages earned in Maine are subject to Maine Income Tax.
