That is the question that you have to answer for yourself. If you are talking about having scads of money and personal possessions and living a life of luxury, then there may be plenty of 'have nots'.

But how many people are there that are not happy despite having lots of money and 'things'?

I no longer have large amounts of free cash, I can't afford to buy the latest and greatest flat panel TV...but I have a roof over my head and food to eat, and I can spend hours sitting on the porch watching the falcons hunting in the field- which I find to be much more pleasurable than sitting and vegetating in front of the boobtube.

I don't have a new car, or a lot of toys, and life can sometimes be a struggle. There are a lot of 'things' that I no longer have, but that doesn't make me a 'have not'. The things that make me happy now are not the same things that [I used to think] made me happy years ago.

I have what I want, and that makes me a 'have', regardless of what 'things' I don't have.

Only you can answer the question of what it takes to make *you* happy, and if you will be able to find it by moving here.
