Going to pick a day this week - a sunny one - and take a drive down to Bath - Brunswick. After all these years in Maine we have never visited the Bath Marine Museum.. and will do that. I love that area and may take a walk through Reid State Park. Just to be on the beach, even if it isnt' summer, is delightful to me. Brunswick has some good restaurants too. Perhaps visit that great "gelato" place in Bath. Another trip later in the fall will be to the Winslow Homer exhibit at the Portland Art Museum.

Newdaawn, have a great visit. There's an ice cream place in Bath, called Dot's, but it serves Shain's ice cream, not gelato. The gelato place you're thinking of is probably the Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick (on Maine Street). It's fantastic; be sure to go there. They post the day's flavors every day on their website.

Excellent Thai food in Bath at Best Thai II.

You'll really enjoy the Maritime Museum.

Best gelato ever at Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick. Is that Indian restaurant still there? There's a really great antique store within walking distance as well. We loved Brunswick.

There are actually 2 Indian restaurants on Maine Street. Sher Punjab and the other one whose name I can never remember.

Bombay Mahal was the one that sounds familiar. Nice people too. Thanks Mark.
