"Statement as of 4:12 PM EST on November 20, 2007

... A potential winter storm as we head into the start of the
Thanksgiving Holiday...

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Wednesday night through
Thursday evening...

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter Storm
Watch... which is in effect from late Wednesday night through
Thursday evening.

A mixture of snow... sleet and freezing rain will likely overspread
much of northern Maine Wednesday night... and then continue through
Thanksgiving day. This storm has the potential to bring 7 or more
inches of snow and sleet to far northern Maine... and a half inch of
ice to portions north central Maine.

The snow... sleet and freezing rain could pose a problem for
Holiday travelers. All interests should continue to monitor the
latest forecasts and trends."
