After a brief visit to friends in Ohio, I arrived here in lovely, charming Belfast about 7 a.m. Saturday morning. The cold, the snow, the salt air --- so good to be able to breathe again. Mandy (the little black sea poodle) and I slept most of the day Saturday and rested today as well. We hope to find our rental dream home tomorrow.
Had yummy stuffed sea scallops from Dockside here in town yesterday and today we ventured to the local Hannaford's for some equally yummy, though microwaveable General Tso's Chicken and later, Stuffed Peppers. Makes me just all the more anxious for my own kitchen again.
Until we find our home, we're very comfortable at the Belfast Harbor Inn with its very accommodating staff and great WIFI.
Truly, it is so good to be home.
