I lived in Maine (portland and Jefferson) my whole life until college and now I am still stuck in MA but I am desperate to get back. . . .maybe to Bridgton. What is the year round young people community like in Bridgton?

Just found this question, unreplied, straggling on page 2. Surely someone can take a stab at it!

I don't know Bridgton. I know it has an Acadamy and a vegan resteraunt, The Happy Cow.. and a good sized health food store. It was the setting for "The Mist". Here's a link for the town page
Town of Bridgton
It's over theya by Lovell, Sweden and Denmark. I don't know the areas over there well. (Lovell is where Steven King got the "Dodge Van cure for Marlboros") Good luck to you.

I looked into Bridgton recently...it's close to North Conway, so you have all that great shopping. If you snow mobile I think it would be heaven...really pretty. Shawnee Peak is right there if you ski...um...that's all I know...I'm old and don't know what you youngins do these days! =)
