Well those photos show something though it could be three birds for all we know. I want to see an identifiable craft on the ground with little gray men getting out of it. Then I might be interested.

Suppressed memories are part of close encounter experiences. Were you missing any time after your ride?
I haven't had any UFO experiences but I did have a Triumph that looked sweeet but sounded like a sewing machine.

Hopefully the trend for quiet motorcycles will continue. Maine could not pass a law requiring motorcycles to be a certain decible level as the United Bikers Of Maine seem to intimidate everyone in Augusta. That's why we have a seat belt law but no helmet law. Instead of a noise ordinance which was the original intent of the bill they are making it mandatory to display your inspection sticker.....that will do alot to curb the noise problem!!

I saw a Buick (identifiable craft) in town,... three little gray men (about 75 or so) got out and went into the restaurant.

One summer night when hubby was working out of town and I was home alone, I sat up late into the evening with a bowl of popcorn watching the UFO abduction movie, "Fire in the Sky". While I was totally creeped out and engrossed in the movie I heard a scratching at the window. I looked around t for the cat and found that she was sitting beside me just as concerned about the sound. The shades were up over the large picture windows but nothing could be seen in the darkness beyond. Still there was the scratching. I steeled my courage to tiptoe up and turn on the porch light. There, on the porch, was illuminated a family of raccoons. Each one in turn, mother and babies, stood on hind legs and pressed their faces against the glass to peer in. Once the last and littlest one got his peek and vanished I returned to my scary movie and had a good laugh. when I went to work the next day and described my story i was asked,"how do you know they were really raccoons and not just wearing some suit?"

???

Well, this didn't happen in Maine but Central NY where I grew up. I don't remember my exact age then but it was my pre-teens in the 70s. My brother and I were at a friends with some other friends tossing a football around. It was one of those overcast evenings around 8ish. The clouds were low and solid. We saw a large orange glow come from the west to the east. It went right over us. We watched it go by in silence. It had to be at least 300 feet long and 100 feet wide. It made absolutely no sound and moved slowly as it went by. We never did figure out what it was.

Swamp gas or Air Force flares no doubt.

I've always had the impression that the number of UFO sightings in seacoast NH and southern ME dropped off after Pease AFB closed down.
