I saw a cabin I might be interested in. It’s on Beaver Pond
TIA!

Beaver Pond is on a busy road, US Route 302 that goes to Fryeburg. Shawnee Peak ski area is in Bridgeton. Your camp would be close to the road if that convenience is important to you. It's less than an hour to Portland and close to the White Mountains in NH. Lots to do.

Bridgton (no e) and Harrison are nice towns in a pretty area, and I wouldn’t mind living out there, but having to rely on Route 302 as the primary route would drive me buggy because of the summer traffic, especially heading toward Portland. Driving west to Fryeburg and the White Mountains would be much less congested, although North Conway gets crazy in the summer too.

There’s a traffic memo on the Bridgton town website with fairly recent traffic data you might want to glance at.

If you don’t need to commute out of town regularly, it’s definitely worth considering.
