I have NO idea what you're talking about.

C'mon over, you might even see at stray bottle of ACB. Not in my house, but I've got a cousin that likes the Aroostook County martini!

We start at the top of the hill we march down and end at the town landing. Sometimes it's so much fun, we've been known to have the parade twice in one day!
The second parade sounds like the "second line" marching back from a New Orleans funeral!

I love the idea of a parade that includes everyone in town.....

I remember as a kid....putting red white and blue crepe paper and a noise making playing card, in the spokes of my junk yard bike....and riding down Main Street with my friends....in the 4th of July parade. It was a dinky little parade but we all had spirit!

Sometimes biggest isnt bestest! I can forgo the big parades, with the pols and celebrities,

BUT I do love a band and a band concert --like I say.....biggest and bestest aren't necessarily the same.

Goose Rocks has a VERY cute 4th of july parade for the children - it is a bike parade, all the kids decorate their bikes and ride from the general store to the grba community center. It is adorable - a couple hundred kids all decked out. Everyone lines up and watches - it is after the 5K race that the GRBA hosts that goes down Kings Highway and back. There is also a "carnival" (very small scale - geared toward small children, the games are run by the bigger kids) at the community center after the bike parade.

It really does sound like there is something for everyone.....from a kid's bike parade in Goose Rocks to Eastport's, largest in the state.

Gorham's summer band concerts will be starting in July and the Main St. has been festooned with American flags since Memorial Day Week End. It looks like a Norman Rockwell town.....
