One hour from Portland, with a college, sounds like Lewiston-Auburn, but I'm not sure the public schools in Lewiston have ever been called excellent. Could also be Brunswick, although that's more like half an hour. The schools there are outstanding, though. Waterville is too far -- hour and a half or thereabouts. Farmington is even farther. There isn't a college in the Norway-S. Paris area.

Brunswick or L-A would be my best guess, with the lakes and Sugarloaf references leaning toward L-A.

I was thinking Brunswick for a minute too, however it's only 15 minutes to the coast. Therefore, I'm going with..... Waterville!

Online mapping says Waterville to Portland is 75 mi. Which is a bit of a stretch to be within the one hour window. But one shouldn't discount the creativity of the ad writer.

Depending on who is driving, construction, etc. it can be done in anywhere from 60-75 minutes. I've never had it take longer than 1 hr, 15 minutes.

I wasn't thinking of a College so farmington area would be a good bet. L/A is only 30 minutes to Portland. Here in South Auburn I can be in the old port in 35 minutes(parked and headed into fore st. Yum)

P.S. LET US KNOW WHEN YOU FIND OUT! the suspense is killing me!

Brunswick would be out as it's 2 hours from the Loaf. There are two hospitals in L/A so that's a possibility. Waterville is more than hour to Portland.
