I always find it so interesting to read everyone's preferences when it comes to weather. Having lived in WI for many years, and now for the past 2 years in NC, I know for certain that I prefer cold weather over heat. Last August it was at least 100 degrees here every single day. I haven't seen snow for the past 3 winters, and I miss it terribly. I'm just so glad that we live in a country where you can live in any climate you like, and where every sort of climate is available. Lucky us!

It's too hot for me here already! With 80% humidity I'm cheering for fall already!

We need to shoo some of that rain over to Maine Writer... I hear she is threatening to have to water the newest batch of seeds she planted!

My garden is doing ok, though, so I will be glad to share..

K has been feeling the heat when it gets into the 80s here... with no trees, even the fans going in this tin box in the gravel pit doesn't help much.

I know it doesn't help much, when one suffers as much from the heat and you and he do, but I -- for one -- am thankful that it cools off after sunset! Get the fans going in the windows, pulling all that cool air in and sleeping is fine.

I also am reminding him that summer doesn't last through November here! Though I am remembering that 80+ degree day that I got during my late September vacation last year... just one, though, then back to fall.

Hey, at least the veggies like it! My 'maters and peppers have blooms on them.
