Sometimes a big event like the Great State of Maine air show can be a good excuse for people from a forum like this to get together and meet at a place they were planning to all attend in the first place.
Will you be going to see the Blue Angels at the Air Show at BNAS in Brunswick on the 6th or 7th of September??
It's a great show and well worth the drive from where ever you live in Maine, and what a great place it would be for the Maine forum people to get together and have a good afternoon getting to know each other and watching some great flying! It might be something to think about!
We could make up a City Data banner to hang on the fence so we could find everyone!
What do you think????

I definately want to go. I'll know more the closer we get there. Last time I went I just parked at "fat boys" and watched as much as possible. This time I plan on taking my boys with me so I'll try and get inside the show.

That is a good idea Maineah!

Traffic and getting in and out is an issue I guess. I never considered it an issue as we live so close to the base. We always had a tailgate party at the truck AFTER the show while people were leaving. When we got our fill of burgers and dogs and perhaps a beer or two it was a straight shot to the gate with no one in the way. We just figured it in to part of the day! We try to be at the gate by 8:00 AM to get a good parking place close to the flight line. That way we can go to the truck when necessary to get "medicine" during the day. We have these events down to an art form!

Ahem* that would mean you might actually have to get out of bed before the crack of noon.
