tried that.... being nice is not an option with this person--I have the stab marks to prove it.

Think we could take that photo sticky down and put that up there?

well its like this.mostly becouse its cold and we get alot of snow in the winter.
but we allso weed out the sissy's and the cry babies.if you cant shovel your yard with a broken shovel in one hand a kid in the other and cook breakfast at the same time all while your in your PJ's and slipers
dont come to maine.you wont make it.
Har har! Slippers? pftttt! Holed crocks let the cool air in! If you're particularly talented in balancing the kid and holding the shovel together, you won't get a single flake of snow in 'em! It's an art I tell ya!

I think we're low in population in part because many people in society like to have a more "exciting" if-you-will lifestyle. Maine does have a lot to do, but not as much as say, New York ...if you're more into a quieter lifestyle and are willing to live without "flash and fad" you can do well here. It's a matter of preference IMO.

I learned that if you take equipment in to a repair guy, you need to first remove all nails and replace them each with those super expensive shear pins.

A guy don't make that mistake twice.

Did you know that dealerships get all upset and say that you have violated your warranty when you use nails.

They also don't like you using hardened bolts.

I learned that if you need your snow blower repaired before it snows in December you should take it in to be worked on in July. Same for your rototiller, except take it in December if you need it in July.
