Is this an area that still has relatively a high amount of "diversity"? I ask because I came across a site that showed that the schools a few decades ago were very diverse, but it decline in conjunction with the closing of Loring AFB.

Very little in diversity in Limestone now. A few minority students some years and none in other years depending on if new families move into or out of the area. I know a few people who work at the Limestone school and they seem like they really care about the students they have. If you mean the area in general, then the answer is about the same. Very little diversity. As a black friend of mine used to say about living in Limestone "This place is white year round, not just in the winter!" Always said with a good laugh and a smile.

I lived in Limestone...Lord it must be around ten years ago now. Time flies. My family and I lived in "The Old Cyr House" about two blocks away from the school. Not very Diverse, but definatly supportive when my family had to move down to MA so I could get Chemo. Very fond memories of the teachers, and the church I was part of. =)
