Hi, I used to live in Maine and was just wondering what color the license plate year stickers are now, for both 2010 and 2011?

I think they are white this year. I don't pay attention to them, to tell the truth. However I do know my plate number.

well that's better than I ever did...i couldn't even remember my number!
I also know the 2009 stickers were orange. (I happened to see an out-of-state Maine car this year on the west coast.

I had to check- but can confirm that they are just white! And I think legally, you are only supposed to have the current sticker showing (in the upper R corner), either by scraping the last year's off before putting the new one on, or (what most people do) just putting the new sticker on top of the old one... I haven't seen many that look like a rainbow anymore!

You are correct. I caught hell at a traffic stop for having them all over the place. No need to give them an excuse to stop you.

Thanks! yeah I never did the rainbow thingy when I lived in Maine. I really miss Maine...used to go to that floating restaurant (DeMillo's?) in Portland on the waterfront and a large nightclub that had bands each weekend on Fore St...forgot the name! also Joker's near BJ's Wholesale Club in Portland.

My plate number is easy. Between while my father had it and then me after he dies, we've had that number since 1971. I cheat. And the motorcycle says HAVEFUN and DWs' car names her business. (Didn't say it!)
