Yes. I thought I wanted fresh bacon one year. It was very disappointing.

gotta be careful,,,, I know a couple stores that would sell "fresh bacon"
which was this sliced fresh bnls blade roast
fresh, uncured pork bellies, is the real deal,
some places sell their own bacon, some without nitrates, and lower in salt
herring brothers in guilford does this
when you think of the word ham- you think of smoked pork- , but "ham" can be fresh, (of the hindquarter of pork)

Church Fairs......t'is the season of church fairs with their cookie walks, pickles and preserves, home made soups, crafts, white elephant tables and good cheer. I worked mine down in Saco yesterday.....they are so much fun and and an expression and experience of community. I recommend you try one.
