We are in Lowell, between Howland and Lincoln exits off 95. Could anyone suggest the best places to get pre-owned riding lawn mowers at good prices, and also where to buy utility trailers new or used at good prices? We need the mower asap!

Thanks for any help!!

I second Ware's. They've worked on my tiller and snow blower and Steve's chainsaw.

Ware's has excellent service. I think they sell only new equipment. On the same side of the same road in Lincoln about 2 miles south is Roger's Small Engine. They sell used equipment and they also have excellent service. Home Depot has the least expensive new trailers. Check Uncle Henry's for used ones.

If you are in a bind you can borrow my small utility trailer to haul your new mower home. You have my number.

I was at Ware's today to have my chainsaw tuned up. They do have used ride-on lawnmowers. They had two Yard machines for 495.00, a "Husky" and others. I didn't check them all out as I was just doing a drop off and a pick up but, they do have them.

We did too. The people there have been quite helpful and patient answering questions for me. I was looking at a trimmer that has an optional brush cutter attachment today. I liked it a lot.

If you buy a brush cutter, get one with the gear box on the bottom end. They last a lot longer than the ones with a bent shaft. The bent shaft ones work like a speedometer cable. I bought my Jonsereds at Ware's.

Thank you for the info. The one I was looking at is a Stihl trimmer that has a brush cutter conversion attachment. I was told they're very good but, I will do my homework if I do decide it's something I can use.

Might try Craig's List, especially for the trailer.
