Great moving experience in B-more area - Orly Movers (Baltimore: townhome, price)

Just wanted to let folks know about a good experience we recently had with some local movers. We talked to/got quotes from four companies and chose Orly Movers, as their estimate was lowest and they provided prompt, friendly service in response to our inquiry.

They called the day before the move (as promised) to confirm, and said their guys would be there at 9:00 am. The next day, the guys actually showed up at 8:30 and asked if they could go ahead and get started; the forecast indicated that temps would be in the mid to upper 90s that day, and they wanted to see if they could get done before the hottest part of the day. They were quick, but also careful, and they were friendly. The three-man team had the contents of our two bdrm. apt. loaded into their truck within an hour and a half, and unloaded into our new townhome by 11:30 am.

We tipped them very well because we were very happy with their service and because while it had gotten really hot already, they had stuck with it without more than a few short breaks.

I have to agree with you. We just had a short move from Ellicott City to Eldersburg, and used Orly Movers for it. We were extremely happy with their service, professionalism, and price and would recommend them to anyone needing a moving company in the Baltimore area.
