We are relocating back to the Fort Meade area and will be buying a home this time around. We really like the feel of Calvert Co as well as the school ratings, etc. Has anyone commuted from towns as far south as Huntingtown or Sunderland? If so, how was it? We understand it will be a long drive for my husband, but how is traffic? We are originally from Southern California, so we are no strangers to traffic... but 40 miles plus can be a bit daunting if you throw traffic in the mix. Thanks!

It's a pain either way. Go 301 to 32 and you have stoplights the whole way. Go 2 to Annapolis and pick up I97 to 32 you have Annapolis traffic and stoplights. Plan at least an hour.

Thank you for the reply! We can see from the map that there isn't a direct highway route. I suppose we'll have to weigh if living in that area will be worth it.
