DC is one of the MAJOR tourist destinations in the country. I wouldn't be surprised if just the School field trips to DC were larger than Baltimore's total tourist traffic.

About 90% of the inquiries on the
Reviews of Hotels, Flights and Vacation Rentals - TripAdvisor "Maryland Forum" are either about Baltimore or Ocean City.
Most of the remaining 10%, ask about Annapolis or the Eastern Shore.
