I hear a lot of people talking about Subrubs and rural areas but not areas in between Suburban and Rural. Maryland has lot of quality Exurbs IMO. Which one appeals to you the most?

I personally live in LaPlata, which has a certain amount of charm with parades, outdoor concerts and festivals, a little-theater, a hospital, a seniors center, and diverse restaurants.

But I think it's neat how Davidsonville is very centrally located, a reasonable drive to so many employment centers, major shopping, etc., yet it's so pastoral and beautiful. It's has no shopping or services, though. The garden nursery/ gift shop is delightful.

Indian Head is sleepy and run-down, with little shopping, and in a poor school district, but their very young Mayor is taking steps to make the town high-tech and conducive to new industry and Navy contractors.

You know there is a large chunk of Maryland west of Parrs Ridge? I don't see a single area out here on the list.

Right. I'm interested to see how he does. Being elected at 19, I'd imagine he has even further ambitions than just being mayor of Indian Head. If he improves the town it would be impressive.
