I adore the word “Maryland.” So, I always type it out fully whenever I’m referring to it.

I never use the shortened version “Md.” Abbreviations do the state no justice.

How about you?

I don’t type out anything more than needed. State abbreviations are well recognized so I always use them. I only have two favorite words, serendipity and paradox and it’s purely for the ideas they represent.

I'm too lazy to type it out. I do know when ordering on Amazon when selecting the state I just hit M twice and I skip Marshal Islands and land on MD instead of using the slider to land there

I never really thought about it, but I do type out the word Maryland. When I grew in in Boston, I always abbreviated Massachusetts as Mass or MA.

For some reason, it seems more natural to type out Maryland.

Maryland is an easy and fun word to type if you can touch type, although I had never (another fun word to type) thought about it until right now.

I type out Maryland, but not due to any reason surrounding the aesthetic qualities of the word itself.

I always type Ohio, Iowa, and usually Texas. Anything longer than that...
