It's my old friend Laura Neuman.

I wonder how many other intelligent R's will join her in this sensible approach to life?

So she was a democrat, switched to republican, and now is a democrat? Typical politician.

Per WBAL https://www.wbal.com/article/549120/...or-of-maryland

Neuman was initially a Democrat, switched to the Republican party and served nearly two years as Anne Arundel County Executive from 2013 to 2014 following the conviction and resignation of County Executive John Leopold. She is now a registered Democrat.

Meh. Nearly everyone who grows up in B'mre registers as a democrat.
You have to be some sort of martyr to avoid the actual election going on.

But when I knew her -over 35 years ago when about age 20- she was definitely a Republican.
Not the sort of R who would vote for a clear POS like Trump but you know, the real sort.

So she has consistently been a consistent member of the uniparty...good for her...go team.

Like it or not, with the exception of the Governor most Maryland Republicans are Trump supporters.

Do you have a source for that? I know a lot of Republicans who are lukewarm toward Trump at best.

Yeah, I don't hang out in an echo chamber.

I may have retired from public life but I still pay attention.

I know there are a lot of ex-Republicans. But many of us gave up on the GOP a long time ago. A lot of it around here was due to the intransigent stand of Michael Hough and his brand of republican ism. Trump was just the final straw.
