This is for Baltimore City.

I've tried playing by the rules with the SDAT and MDLANDREC websites.
I've even written them asking for assistance but it seems that each well
intended reply just sends us all even farther down a rabbit hole.

Q: does anyone reading this have any actual success using these tools?
Or is there some other way to get to the Libre and Folio numbers?
Or maybe a set of instructions that actually achieves a stated goal?

What I have now:
Address
Block #
Lot #
APN #
1923 Sellers Name
1923 Buyers Name (who died in 1927)
1930 New Owners Name (off Census)

What I seek:
Book #
Folio #
Grantor Name (and whatever else is noted)

Anyone? Bueller?
Thanks.

Anyone else?

NBP: were those meant to be helpful in some way?
I'm not seeing it.

You'll have to do some digging through them but the Archives has the records going back to the colonial patents.

It won't be a two hour paper chase, you're going to have to spend some serious time (as in over several days for a couple or three hours a day).

Here's a link from the second link for property records:

All done.

I went to the City's page that directs people to the STATE Archive.
A pretty clear step by step for this most common of inquiries was right there.
I cobbled off the folio # etc found in the oldest of the "current" conveyances.
Then repeated that twice more from 1985 to 1948 to 1927)

Now I get to look up the Trust Agreement and Will.
Tomorrow.
