Apartments in Columbia, MD for young, single female (Eden: apartment complex, safe neighborhood)

Hi,

I am a 27 year old single female beginning a job in Columbia, MD and am looking to move to a single bedroom apartment there. I am making about $50K. I am looking for the following:

-Safe neighborhood
-Under $1K per month rent
-An apartment complex with many young people (although preferably not loud partiers)
-Proximity to restaurants, movies, and shopping areas

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

There are some near your price range over by Kings Contrivance village center. I don't remember the names offhand.

EdenBrooke thou under $1 k may be a bit low... more like 1200-1500 month
