We are planning to take a vacation in Hancock, MA, in late September. If you live in Hancock, MA, what is your favorite place or activity.

Hancock Shaker Village (http://www.hancockshakervillage.org/accounts/28/homepage/ - broken link) is thee attraction in town, a must see either self or guided tour, enough for a full day.
There are many towns nearby with loads of attractions, museums, restaurants that's too much to list. The BerkshireWeb Map is a regional website that should help, just select a town from the list below the map. Clarksburg, Williamstown, N. Adams, Pittsfield, Lenox, Stockbridge, Great Barrington would be of interest to most tourist. Enjoy!
