hello. i just moved to Turners Falls almost a year ago and there is still much that i dont know. My daughter will be going to Hillcrest in the fall but due to me working i will need a before and after school program for her. i looked into the YMCA but im not sure how i would get her from turners to greenfield and if there transportation would do that. Does anyone know of any programs?

90% of us probably don't even know where Turners Falls is, haha. The best thing to do would be to either call the YMCA or Hillcrest. They should have more info about specific transportation to and from.

Parsec, may be right, but I was just in Turner's Falls, and had one of the best lunches I've had in ages just a stone's throw from the Bridge at the Shady.

Yes, calling around is probably best bet, and good luck!

You should definatly try to find some friends in Turners it would make things easier. Cafemom.com you can search my location. ALSO.. if the Y doesnt do transportation.. I would call the montague parks and recs department because turners falls is part of montague. the local libraries might still have programs they did when i was a kid and my daughter isn not old enough yet so i'm unsure... but... hope you find what you need and welcome to the neighborood
