Hello, hoping for some direction on areas to live in with exceptional public schools near East Long Meadow. Looking for mortgages that do not exceed $400k and a family oriented neighborhood. We are in our mid 30's moving from Texas. Help please!

East Longmeadow is good, it's an all around good town. Longmeadow has the great reputation for schools but prices may be higher and there can be too much pressure on students in Longmeadow.

E. Longmeadow is a nice area and you can also look at Wilbraham too.Wilbraham has a very good school system and are currently building a new high school. Not sure if you're looking for a new home or not but if you are you can DM me as I work with a builder who builds in both areas.

Longmeadow is such a great community, but known in Western Mass to be quite exclusive. If you can find an affordable home I would move there! The schools in Longmeadow are consistently rated among the highest in Massachusetts. I agree that Wilbraham is also becoming known as another "higher-end" community. I grew up in Westfield and hands-down would recommend it to anyone; however, I am biased.
Northampton is right off 91 so the commute to East Longmeadow is not bad and Northampton is such a great town! There is so much to do there, great walk-ability for restaurants, theater, and shopping. However, it is very much a liberal college town and if that doesn't work for you, then NOHO won't as well. Good luck!!
