My husband and I are in our early thirties and are considering relocating to Cape Cod. We want to start a family in the near future and are looking for a laid-back, friendly, community-oriented area where we can meet like-minded couples and young families. We are considering the Orleans area, as well as Sandwich and Falmouth. Does anyone have thoughts on how easy it is to meet people on the Cape--outdoor activities, school-related functions, etc? We love the feel of Orleans, but do like the idea of being closer to Boston and being part of a (perhaps?) younger, more year-round community. We would be working on the Cape, not Boston. Thanks so much--any insight is much appreciated!
