I am going to Martha's Vineyard soon.... I have been once before but it rained a lot so I didn't venture out much. I am taking my sweetheart out for his birthday, I was thinking a nice dinner... maybe italian? Anyone have any suggestions? He loves filet mignon and calmari so someplace with either would be great!

P.S. if you have any tips on really fun stuff to do, places (lighthouses?) to visit let me know!

Thanks!

Edgertown, and Oaks Bluff both have a lot of decent to nice restaurants. Vineyard Haven has a good amount too...but is also a dry town. Are you bring a vehicle over? You can take the bus to all the towns very cheap, or you can also rent a car which is kind of expensive. Every hotel you stay at will have a nice map of the area with all of the goto spots listed on them. So definately take advantage of those, and also reach out to the visitors office to suggestions too. When I was thier this summer, I just reached out to the locals for suggestions, and they were all very helpful.

Good Luck!

Nope I am not bringing a car over... too expensive! The buses were very helpful last year... we are staying in Vineyard Haven so hopefully I will find a place there within walking distance. Thanks for your help!

I've always had good luck at the Black Dog. It's right on the waterfront. It's very popular for breakfast, but has a good dinner as well.

Most of the restaurants are in Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, so focus there. Vineyard Haven is a dry town, if that is an issue to you.
