Hello,

I am a resident of MA and thinking about purchasing a house in Stoneham. Unfortunately, it only has room for one car and I'm planning on living with my girlfriend who needs her car as well. Stoneham seems to have a ton of on-street parking, but like many towns has an on-street parking law in the winter. ( Town of Stoneham, Massachusetts - ).

Is this law actually enforced in the winter, especially when there's little to no snow? Obviously I'm sure it's enforced when there is a big storm, but I am wondering if it's possible for me to purchase this place or not.

I think you could research rentals of parking space. It can be a certain parking lot, or it can be someone living in a house with extra parking that they don;'t use and rent out to people. I see it's done in Brookline for example. Sometimes just walking around say Coolidge corner area I see signs in the yards "parking spot for rent" and phone number. I don't know Stoneham that well, but maybe that's an option? And perhaps you could rent just in winter?
