Define worst. I know people who live in those cities who say living in Weston is worse.

Lowell and Worcester are nice cities. Taunton is basically a larger-than average town not a city, and it really seems you just hate areas with >2,500 ppsm.

Good point Parsec. I love Lowell with a passion. Living in an upscale pretentious suburb sounds like a living hell to me.

I personally would rather live in Weston, but I was just pointing out that many people would not! I know many people who live in Lowell and Worcester and they love it! Different strokes for different folks.

It's funny how Boston actually has a higher crime rate than all but a few of those smaller cities, yet Boston never winds up on these people's "worst cities" lists.

Yeah, by most in the state. But Id take New Bedford, Lowell, Worcester or Fall River over most of what others consider "ideal."

What's the point of this thread? Just to cause a stir?

Every community has some nice places, and some not so nice places, including the towns on your list.

Why are the last 4 bolded, are they better or worse than the rest in your opinion?
