Williamstown is my first choice to live with my family but prices are high. I need more info from people who actually live here? Is it worth the extra money to live in Williamstown?
How is Dalton?
I am not considering Pittsfield because of the schools.
Please let me know if you have inside information.
I value education (I don't just mean test scores) but I do look forward to my daughter getting into a good college...
My husband and I are both college educated, liberal, artsy I am in the theater and he is a writer.
Where should we go?
Thanks!

I know in our small town of Monroe, just east of North Adams, there are no schools in town so kids have a choice of schools to attend. Some go to the technical school, some to the regular high school, and some to Charlemont Academy. I'm not sure how broad the school choice is. But regardless of what town your in, you do have some choice of where to send your kids.

In some ways it would be better to live in Southern Vermont. Your child can attend an International Bachelor qualifed private school! There are several schools in Vermont with results. Most of the private school league within Mass would not know of them.
