Cool thread. Although I have a "day job", Im also a photographer. I did a shoot this past Oct. at Bash Bish Falls in Western Mass. I want to post my favorite shot on this thread, however I cannot post same pic TWICE on the Cd forum. Can see it down in general topics, scroll down to photography section to the photo contest for Jan/Feb (top thread) Its on pg 2 , look for tom62 entry. While there, why not vote for your favorite? OK. These aren't as good as those previously posted, but they DO capture some stuff. Although I absolutely love the landscape/cityscape pics....I like the ones with people in them. So here's a few from a visit we recently had on the Cape with some friends from VA Beach/Ohio.
My Son/My Sun entertaining our friends with some Pink Floyd. Sheep's Pond, Brewster.
Son/Sun took the kids to the top of the WatchTower in PTown.
After a long day on the Upper, Mid and Lower Cape, Son/Sun takes a late afternoon nap on Sheep Pond in Brewster. "Isn't this why we LIVE here, Mom?"

Of course Mass has a lot of old world charm, but I find the scenery is not as overwhelming as in Washington state, for instance.

The scenery is completely different, Pigeonhole. New England has a completely different flavor than your example of Washington state. Massachusetts is very "Old World" with many Euro influences. Washington state has more of a panoramic feel. Rather like comparing apples to oranges.
